Hawzah News Agency- Chairman of Pakistan Muslim Unity Council, Hujjat al-Islam Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, has said, "The cruel actions of the government against the people of Gilgit-Baltistan make the people of this region disappointed with the government. The people of Gilgit and Baltistan are patriotic, but the oppressive actions of the government are increasing the problems day by day.”

He clarified that the government includes those who cry for the fundamental rights of the people of this region in terrorism cases. This kind of behavior is a form of injustice and lawlessness.”

Hujjat al-Islam Abbas Jafari further noted that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan are knowledgeable, patriotic and well-educated. Despite the fact that it has been 77 years, the people of this region have not obtained their fundamental rights, however, the children of this region sing the national anthem of Pakistan every morning.”

The Pakistani senator went on to say that this region is deliberately pushed towards unrest to create a situation like Baluchistan. Instead of compensating people's deprivations, problems are created in people's lives day by day.

The head of Pakistan Muslim Unity said,” Wazir Hasnain, the head of "Awami Tehreek" has been arrested in the city of Skardu-Baltistan, which I strongly condemn. Under what law can those who speak of their rights be bound? Such brutal actions make people frustrated with the government. They should avoid such actions.”

It is worth noting that the majority of the population of Gilgit-Baltistan are Shiites, but the government of Pakistan, with the aim of changing the population structure, is making life more difficult for the people of this region day by day.
